Our Interior Design Process
Amy Wellnitz is a passionate and versatile Woodinville-area interior designer dedicated to creating inspiring and thoughtful spaces. She has a streamlined design process to ensure your design project is handled with complete care from concept to completion.
STEP ONE
Discovery
We start with a complimentary phone consultation to learn more about your project, your home and what you hope to achieve. If we agree we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule an in-home consultation to walk the space together, discuss your needs in greater detail and take initial measurements. From there, we’ll prepare a proposal outlining the scope of work, estimated investment and project timeline.
STEP TWO
Design Concepts
During this phase, we begin bringing your vision to life through interior and architectural design. We’ll explore the aesthetic direction, space planning, finishes and furnishings through digital design boards, refining each element along the way. We’ll also collaborate with your architect, contractor and trades to ensure every detail works together before moving forward with a final design plan.
STEP THREE
Construction & Procurement
By the time we enter this phase, your design is finalized and furnishings are ready to be ordered. We’ll work closely with your contractor and trades throughout construction, making on-site visits as key elements take shape to help keep the project running smoothly, on schedule and within budget. Behind the scenes, we’ll manage procurement with our trusted vendors, coordinating orders for furnishings, artwork and accessories. With so many moving pieces, communication is key and no detail is overlooked.
STEP FOUR
Delivery & Installation
This is the moment you’ve been waiting for. With construction complete, we bring the design to life through the professional delivery, installation and styling of your furnishings, artwork and accessories. Our team is there to oversee every last detail, ensuring everything is placed just as we envisioned. All that’s left for you to do is settle in, enjoy and feel right at home.
